Eligibility Requirements

Time in Business

2+ years in operation preferred. Startups may qualify with strong business plans and owner experience.

Credit Score

650+ personal credit score recommended. Business credit history reviewed. Lower scores may still qualify with compensating factors.

Cash Flow (DSCR)

Demonstrated ability to repay. SBA requires a debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) of at least 1.15x — meaning $1.15 in income for every $1.00 of debt.

US-Based Business

Business must operate in the United States or its territories. Majority US ownership required (51%+).

For-Profit Small Business

Must be a for-profit business that meets SBA size standards (varies by industry). Most small businesses qualify.
